If you are thinking of undertaking the AFI (Assistant Flying Instructor) course then you'll need to brush up on your flying skills, as well as learning how to fly from the back seat.   You will learn how to put structure and process around your flying, handle the aircraft from the rear seat, and undertake forced landings from the most unlikely locations!

The countryside is covered with small "farm strips" which offer some of the most challenging and enjoyable flying available.  Learn how to take off and land on short grass strips, assess airstrips for suitability, and plan your flights to these mini private airfields.  Understand your own limits and those of the aircraft.
