No matter what your motivation, if you want to try a gyro flight then a trial flight is the place to start.

 

When you come for a trial flight with The Gyrocopter Experience Salisbury:

 

- you will receive a briefing beforehand about the flight

- you will get the opportunity to handle the controls yourself

- we will fly a number of manoeuvers, typically covering fast flight, slow flight, hovering, vertical descents, tight turns, take-off and landing (with a bit of normal "just flying around" too!) to show you the capabilities of a gyro - or if you want we can just go sightseeing

- we will tailor the content of the flight to suit you and do the things you want to do

- we will supply all the specialist equipment you need - helmet, headset, flying suit and gloves.  You just need to turn up in appropriate clothing (jeans, trainers and a fleece or two depending on the weather) but don 't forget to bring a big grin to use at the end of the flight!

 

All flights are subject to suitable weather conditions.  We don't often have to cancel, but recommend that you call before setting off to check.  Your friends, family and your dog will be welcome at the airfield - we have ample parking, a cafe serving hot food and drinks 7 days a week and a small museum dedicated to the airfield's history.
